The Mercedes-Benz Stars of Service Championships is a multi-level national competition sponsored by Mercedes-Benz USA to identify the best suited to demonstrate world-class knowledge, skills, and teamwork.

This is open to all technicians across the nation. Of the thousands of technicians and service advisors throughout the Mercedes-Benz USA dealer network, 2 of our very own RBM of Atlanta technicians made it to the top 32, and reached the National Competition. They were among the top one percent of all eligible participants to reach this level of the competition.

Charles Willingham, Jr.

Charles has been a part of the RBM of Atlanta family for 20 years.
In 2000 he was awarded a trip to Mercedes-Benz factories in Germany as a part of the Master Guild program.

A recipient of Master Guild Technicians awards dating back to 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 and is currently a Master Certified technician. Charles is one of the few technicians in the country certified to work on Maybach, SLR-class, and the new SLS.

Away from work, Charles enjoys speed boats.

Atanas Georgiev

Originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Atanas has been working in the automotive industry for eight years. 

Atanas started his career at Bosch Service Center in Bulgaria, then joined Balkin Star Mercedes-Benz in 2007. He moved to the United States in 2009 and joined the RBM of Atlanta family in 2010.

His hobbies are spending time with friends and family, especially his 2 month old son, Michael.
